Beads Out Level 166 Guide: The 7-Clear Curtain and Key Trap
Beads Out Level 166 throws a massive structural roadblock at you right from the start. Look at the bottom right of the board. A giant red curtain. It holds a gold medal with the number '7' stamped on it. You have to fully clear seven Boxes before that curtain drops. Until it does, the most important part of the board is completely dead to you.
The dominant bead colors on the Conveyor are yellow, blue, and white, with strict clusters of green and red. The bottom Box placement forces a very specific opening. You have White, Dark Green, and Red sitting right at the top of the stack, totally exposed. The left side is trapped behind a solid vertical wall. You cannot reach the lower left until the top clears out. This board is punishing because of the Dock economy. You only have four slots. The midgame dumps Half Boxes into your Dock, instantly eating your space. One wrong tap on a color you cannot finish, and your run is dead.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 166
Take a hard look at the clover-shaped Conveyor. It has four distinct feeding loops. The left loop holds your early blue, yellow, and light blue beads. The top loop traps pink, green, and blue. The right loop is a mess of yellow, grey, orange, and dark blue. The bottom loop feeds red, white, brown, yellow, and dark blue. The intersections are where the jams happen. Pulling from one loop shifts the others.
Now check the Boxes. The top row is your starting line. White on the left. Dark Green in the middle. Red on the right. These are safe.
Below that, things get ugly. The left column is isolated by a vertical wall. It holds Dark Blue, Pink, Olive Green, Grey, and White. You have to chip away at this column slowly. In the middle, you have Purple.
Right in the center of the board sits a Light Blue box. It has a black Crate Lock on it. Do not route light blue beads early. You cannot open it. Beside it are Green and Yellow Boxes.
Directly below the locked box is a grey block with a '3' on it, and another with a '2'. These numbered barriers stall your downward progress.
Then you have the trap. The 2x2 red curtain with the '7'. This hides five essential Boxes. Most importantly, it hides a Dark Red box carrying a key. You need that key to break the Crate Lock on the Light Blue box. You must prioritize clearing seven open Boxes as fast as possible to reveal that key.
Beads Out Level 166 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact sequence. Beads Out Level 166 requires strict Conveyor control. If you pull colors out of order, the Dock fills and you fail.
Feeding the Open Row in Beads Out Level 166
Your only goal right now is hitting that seven-box quota. Ignore the locked Light Blue box. Ignore the walled-off left column. Focus on the top layers.
- Clear the White Box: Tap the white beads from the bottom Conveyor loop. This opens up the bottom path.
- Clear the Dark Green Box: Pull the green beads trapped in the top Conveyor loop.
- Clear the Red Box: Grab the red beads from the bottom loop. The top row is now completely gone.
- Target the Purple Box: This box sits in the middle row. Pull purple beads carefully. Watch your Dock space.
- Target the Dark Blue Box: This sits at the top of the walled-off left column. Tap the dark blue beads from the right and bottom loops. Clearing this makes room on the crowded right side of the Conveyor.
- Clear Green and Yellow: Focus on the Green and Yellow Boxes sitting next to the locked Light Blue box. You need these to hit your quota. Pull yellow from the left and right loops. Pull green from the top loop.
Dropping the Curtain and Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 166
Once you hit seven clears, the red curtain drops. The board completely changes.
You finally have access to the bottom right. The reveal shows a Grey and Red box in the middle row. The bottom row exposes Pink, Yellow, and the critical Dark Red box with the key.
Simultaneously, the game attacks your Dock.
- Manage the Half Boxes: Look at your Dock. You will likely receive three Half Boxes back-to-back. Olive Green 50%, Brown 50%, and Orange 50%. These consume three of your four precious slots.
- Clear the Brown 50% Box: Tap the brown beads from the bottom Conveyor loop immediately. Get it out of the Dock.
- Clear the Orange 50% Box: Pull the orange beads from the right loop.
- Clear the Olive Green 50% Box: Find the olive green beads on the left loop and route them. Your Dock is now safe again.
- Route the Dark Red Box: This is the most important move. Feed the dark red beads into the Dark Red box at the bottom right.
- Break the Crate Lock: Once the Dark Red box fills, the key flies up. It breaks the Crate Lock on the Light Blue box.
Clearing the Left Wall in Beads Out Level 166
The lock is gone. The middle is open. Now you clean up the remaining garbage on the left side and trigger the finish line.
- Clear the Light Blue Box: Pull the light blue beads from the left loop.
- Bypass the Numbered Blocks: As you clear adjacent Boxes, the grey blocks marked '3' and '2' will count down and clear out of your way.
- Grind the Left Column: Focus entirely on the walled-off left side. You have Pink, Olive Green, Grey, and White stacked up here.
- Clear the newly exposed Right Side: Finish the Grey, Red, Pink, and Yellow Boxes that were hiding under the curtain.
- Survive the Last Four: When only four Boxes remain, the speed increases. The Conveyor moves fast. Tap the remaining matched strings of beads quickly. Do not leave a single stray color in your Dock. Route the final colors to finish Beads Out Level 166.
