Beads Out Level 486 Guide: The Mystery Box Minefield

You load up Beads Out Level 486 and immediately face a heavily blocked grid. This board relies on a massive visual trap right at the starting line. Look at the central exit chute. You have a massive figure-eight Conveyor feeding into one single exit point. The dominant bead colors visible immediately are Yellow, Red, Tan, Pink, and Blue, with two long tails of black mystery beads trailing at the top of both loops.

The real headache is the bottom area. The box placement is a staggered grid choked by five grey Mystery Boxes. Worse, there is a Sealed Cube sitting in the bottom left corner with a '3' on it, trapping a Light Blue box completely. Easy levels hand you the right boxes at the start. Beads Out 486 hands you Dark Blue, Olive Green, Tan, and Light Blue boxes in the top row. Not a single one of those matches the Yellow and Red beads sitting directly at the chute pinch point. You have to dig fast and use your Dock space as a temporary trash can. If you pull up the wrong boxes early, you jam the board permanently.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 486

Read the board before you tap anything. Your Conveyor is a figure-eight loop that funnels down into one narrow lane. The left arm contains Yellow right at the exit, followed by Brown, Grey, Light Pink, regular Blue, and Pink. The right arm holds Red right at the exit, followed closely by Tan, Pink, and Light Blue. Both arms terminate in long strings of black mystery beads marked with question marks.

Your active Dock has four empty slots. The top row of accessible boxes is Dark Blue, Olive Green, Tan, and Light Blue. This is the bait. If you pull all four up, you lose. You need a Yellow box or a Red box to move the beads, but the closest Yellow box is stuck in the second row on the right. The closest Red box is buried in the fourth row down on the left-center.

You must also account for the Half Boxes. You have a horizontal Light Blue Half Box in row two, another Light Blue Half Box in row four, a Cream box in the middle, and two pieces of a Red Half Box scattered lower down. You cannot ignore the '3' Sealed Cube in the bottom left corner either. You have to make three adjacent matches near it to shatter it. The five grey Mystery Boxes heavily restrict your vertical column access. You must crack the top layer to see what colors those grey boxes actually need.

Beads Out Level 486 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need perfect Dock management here. The goal is to clear the immediate Yellow and Red beads without clogging your four available slots.

Surviving the Opening Trap in Beads Out Level 486

The opening taps dictate everything. Do not touch the Olive Green box yet. Leave it right where it is. It is useless early game bait.

  1. Tap the Tan box from the top row up into the Dock. You have Tan beads coming up soon on the right lane.
  2. Tap the Light Blue box from the top right into the Dock.
  3. Tap the Dark Blue box from the top left into the Dock. You are doing this purely to get them out of the way. You now have three of your four Dock slots filled.
  4. Moving the Light Blue box exposes the Yellow box on the right side. Tap the Yellow box up into your final Dock slot.
  5. Feed the Yellow beads from the left arm of the Conveyor directly into the Yellow box.
  6. The Yellow box fills and clears. You just bought yourself an empty slot again. The left arm of the Conveyor will shift forward, bringing the Brown beads down.
  7. The Dark Blue box you pulled up earlier blocks the first grey Mystery Box on the left. With the Dark Blue out of the grid, that Mystery Box will reveal its true color. If it matches a bead sequence coming up, pull it.

Managing the Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 486

Now the midgame transition happens. You cleared the Yellow beads, but the Red beads are still blocking the right lane. You must dig for the Red box.

  1. Look at the second row. Tap the horizontal Light Blue Half Box. If you freed the path to the other Light Blue Half Box lower down, tap it next. They merge into a full box in your Dock. Feed the Light Blue beads from the right arm into it.
  2. You must reach the Red box buried in the lower-middle section. Pull the Purple box above it into the Dock if you have space.
  3. Once the Red box is accessible, pull it up immediately. Feed the Red beads sitting at the chute.
  4. The right lane finally moves. Feed the Tan beads into the Tan box you buffered in step one.
  5. Your Conveyor is now pushing Pink beads down both lanes. Dig out the pink boxes. By the middle of the level, your Dock will likely contain Purple and Green boxes, and your Conveyor will be spitting out Dark Green, Tan, and Pink beads.
  6. Shift your focus to the bottom left corner. The Sealed Cube still says '3'. You must clear the boxes directly touching it. Clear the Green box next to it. The counter drops to '2'. Clear the Red Half Box piece next to it. The counter drops to '1'.

Shattering the Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 486

The board speeds up drastically when you get down to the final few boxes. You cannot hesitate here.

  1. Make the final adjacent match next to the Sealed Cube. It shatters completely. The trapped Light Blue box in the bottom left corner is finally free to use.
  2. By this point, the black mystery beads from the top loops will reach the chute. These beads automatically change color to match whatever boxes you have left in your Dock.
  3. Pull up the remaining Dark Green and Olive Green boxes from the bottom of the grid. Feed the newly converted beads into them to finish the board. Keep the rhythm fast. Tap the box, let the beads flow, and clear the stage.
