Beads Out Level 551 Guide: The Crate Lock and Key Trap
This board is a brutal routing puzzle. You start with a massive W-shaped Conveyor absolutely jammed with beads. The problem is not the bead volume. The problem is sitting dead right in the middle of your screen. A massive red padlock with chains stretching across the entire right side of the board. This is a Crate Lock. It freezes half your play area. You cannot win without breaking it.
Where is the key? Buried. It sits on a Beige Box tucked deep in the bottom left corner.
You cannot play this level top-down. If you try to clear the board evenly, you will fill your Dock and fail. Beads Out 551 requires tunnel vision. You must drill down the left side, grab the key, and crack the right side open before the Conveyor backs up and ends your run.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 551
Look closely at the initial layout. Your top row looks inviting. Two Dark Blue Boxes, one Pink, one Light Blue. They are completely unblocked. They are also a trap if you pull them at the wrong time.
The bottom curve of your Conveyor is currently holding Yellow, Pink, Light Blue, and Grey beads. You have a four-slot Dock. Space is your most valuable resource. If you pull the Orange or Grey Boxes from the lower right side early, they will sit in your Dock forever. The right side is dead space right now.
Your entire focus must be on the left vertical column. Below the top Dark Blue Box, you have an Olive Green Box and a White Box. Below those, the game throws a nasty mechanic at you. Two sets of Half Boxes linked by metal horseshoes. The first pair is Beige and Brown. The second pair is Beige and Dark Green. You have to chew through all of this just to reach the key on the bottom row.
Also, check the middle right area. Below the Light Green Box trapped by the chains, there is a grey block with a "3" painted on it. That is a Sealed Cube. It completely blocks the lower right corner. You cannot even touch the adjacent Red, Blue, or Orange Boxes safely until that cube is destroyed. Breaking it requires three adjacent box clears. You cannot start that process until the red Crate Lock is gone.
The dependency chain is strictly linear. Left side first. Get the key. Break the lock. Clear the middle. Crack the cube. Survive the bottom right.
Beads Out Level 551 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact sequence. Do not deviate. Your Dock will jam if you pull boxes out of order.
Tunneling for the Key in Beads Out Level 551
The opening moves are all about clearing the immediate garbage so you can access the left column.
- Tap the Pink and Light Blue Boxes from the top right into the Dock.
- Send the Pink and Light Blue beads from the bottom of the Conveyor into them. They will clear and leave the board.
- Ignore the top Dark Blue Boxes for a moment. You need to pull the Olive Green and White Boxes.
- Check the left side of the Conveyor. You have a cluster of Dark Green, White, and Yellow beads pushing down. Route the White beads into the White Box.
- Now pull the first set of linked Half Boxes (Beige/Brown). You must feed both colors to clear it. Do not let it sit half-empty in your Dock for long.
- Pull the second set of linked Half Boxes (Beige/Dark Green). The left tube of the Conveyor has Dark Green beads ready to drop. Feed them immediately.
- The bottom left corner is now exposed. Tap the Beige Box with the red key on it. Send Beige beads into it until it fills.
- The box clears. The key flies up to the red Crate Lock. The chains shatter. The right side of the board is finally playable.
Breaking the Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 551
The board state completely changes here. The right side is open, but it is incredibly dangerous. The Sealed Cube is your primary target.
- Pull the Light Green Box that was previously trapped under the lock.
- Fill it using the Light Green beads stacked in the right middle loop of the Conveyor.
- When the Light Green Box clears, it counts as an adjacent hit against the Sealed Cube. The number drops from 3 to 2.
- Pull the Red Box directly to the right of the cube.
- Look at the right tube of the Conveyor. You have Red, Light Green, Grey, and Orange beads in a massive stack. Feed the Red beads into the Red Box.
- The Red Box clears. The Sealed Cube drops to 1.
- Pull the Blue Box directly below the cube. Fill it. This is your third adjacent clear. The Sealed Cube shatters, opening up the bottom right corner.
- Look at your Conveyor. The middle loops are holding large amounts of Blue, Red, and Dark Green beads. Route these carefully. If you have any remaining top-row Dark Blue Boxes, pull them now to relieve pressure on the tracks.
The Final Four Speed-Up in Beads Out Level 551
You are now in the endgame. The Sealed Cube is gone. The Crate Lock is gone. You only have a few boxes left in the bottom right corner. Usually, this is Orange, Grey, and maybe a stray Red or Yellow.
- When only four Boxes remain on the board, the game speed increases drastically. The Conveyor will spit beads out much faster.
- Do not panic tap. Pull the Orange Box. Fill it entirely.
- Pull the Grey Box. Fill it entirely.
- Keep your Dock disciplined. If you have two slots open, only pull two boxes. Do not pull all four remaining boxes at once unless you clearly see every matching bead grouped together on the Conveyor.
- Feed the final colored strings into their matching targets to clear the board.
