Beads Out Level 493 Guide: The Crate Lock and Zipped Bag Trap
This board is a total trap if you panic-tap. Beads Out Level 493 features a massive hourglass Conveyor loaded with distinct color bands. Dark Blue and Light Green beads sit directly at the bottom exit chute. The real problem sits right below them.
You have a four-slot Dock. Below that, the storage area is split into three awful sections. The left side features a vertical stack of boxes sitting on hazard tape. The middle has a massive blue blocker block. Sitting right on top of that blocker is a grey Crate Lock with a "4" painted on it. That lock completely blocks access to a massive pile of zipped Sealed Cubes on the right side. You cannot touch those right-side bags until you clear four full boxes to break that lock. This exact setup ruins your buffer economy if you pull up the wrong colors too early.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 493
Look at the initial state of the hourglass Conveyor. The outer left loop is holding Dark Blue, Brown, and Dark Green beads. The outer right loop holds Light Green, Red, and more Dark Blue beads. Sitting way up at the top of both sides are two Mystery Boxes—a black one on the left and a white one on the right. Ignore them for now. They are late-game problems.
Focus on the inner loops of the hourglass. The left inner track holds a massive snake of Light Green beads. The right inner track holds Light Blue and Orange beads. Because of how the Conveyor feeds, those inner loops will not drop until the outer loops clear out.
Now check your lower Dock. Two slots are already occupied by a Yellow Box and a Blue Box sitting at 0%. Leave them alone. The beads needed to fill them are buried deep in the right inner loop. If you pull up more inner-loop colors now, you will fill your Dock with empty boxes and cause a fatal jam.
The storage area dictates your exact order of operations. Look at the left hazard tape column. You have Tan, Dark Blue, White, and Dark Green boxes stacked vertically. The Dark Blue box is your immediate priority. Over on the right side, you see a mess of zipped bags acting as Sealed Cubes. You have Brown, Olive Green, Purple, Red, and Pink bags trapped behind that center blue block. The grey Crate Lock counting down from "4" is the bottleneck. You must drop that number to zero before the right side of the board opens up.
Beads Out Level 493 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Control your taps. The buffer economy here is brutal. You only have two open slots in your Dock because of the Yellow and Blue bait boxes. You must use those two slots strictly for the colors currently sitting at the Conveyor exit.
Clearing the Hazard Tape Column in Beads Out Level 493
The opening moves require complete focus on the bottom of the hourglass.
- Look at the Conveyor exit. Dark Blue beads are queued on the left. Light Green beads are queued on the right.
- Tap the Dark Blue Box sitting on the hazard tape in the left column. Bring it to the Dock.
- Tap the Light Green Box sitting at the bottom middle of the board. Bring it up.
- Feed the Dark Blue beads first. Let the entire dark blue chain slide into the box.
- Feed the Light Green beads immediately after.
- Watch the Crate Lock in the center. Every time one of these boxes hits 100% and clears the Dock, that "4" drops down.
- The next beads to hit the exit are Brown (left) and Red (right).
- Pull up the Brown Box and the Red Box. You have an open Brown zipped Sealed Cube on the top row and a Red box at the bottom right. Bring them up and fill them.
Breaking the "4" Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 493
Clearing those first four colors is mandatory. Once the fourth box leaves the Dock, the grey Crate Lock vanishes.
- The middle blue blocker is now clear. The right side of the storage area opens.
- You now have access to the zipped Sealed Cubes.
- Check the Conveyor. The outer loops are emptying. Dark Green and Dark Blue beads are sliding down the left.
- Pull the Dark Green Box from the hazard tape column. Fill it.
- The inner loops start dropping. Light Blue and Orange beads fall toward the exit chute.
- The Light Blue Box is already in your Dock. Feed it immediately. Do not let those beads pile up and jam the intersection.
- Pull up the Orange Box from the top left corner of the storage grid. Fill it.
- Look at the right side of the storage grid. Tap the Purple and Pink zipped bags. Bring them into the Dock so they are ready for the incoming inner-loop colors.
Managing the Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 493
The late game speeds up drastically. You still have those two Mystery Boxes riding the top of the Conveyor.
- Keep at least one Dock slot totally empty.
- When the black Mystery Box hits the bottom chute, it will reveal its color. If you do not have an empty slot to pull up the matching box, the board dies right here.
- Pull the exact matching box from the remaining Sealed Cubes on the right side.
- Repeat this for the white Mystery Box on the right loop.
- Clear the final Yellow Box that has been sitting in your Dock since the start of the level. The last few beads on the right inner track will finally fill it.
- Finish off the remaining Light Pink and Olive Green zipped bags. The board clears.
