Beads Out Level 550 Guide: The Four-Slot Buffer Trap

Beads Out Level 550 is a masterclass in buffer economy. You are going to look at the starting board, see your available colors, and immediately realize the game is trying to force a jam.

The dominant colors crowding the front of your Conveyor are Gray and Dark Green. Look straight down at your active Dock. The top row of playable Boxes features Brown, Pink, Red, Purple, and Dark Blue. None of these match the front of the line. You have exactly four empty holding slots below the Conveyor to act as your buffer. If you tap recklessly, you fill those four slots with useless colors, the board locks, and you fail in the first ten seconds. You have to route specific trash colors into the buffer just to expose the one color that actually clears a Box.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 550

This board is heavily layered. It looks open at the top, but the bottom half is a fortress of delayed mechanics.

Look at the Conveyor. It features a massive outer U-shape and a smaller inner loop. The left outer track feeds in this exact order: Gray, Light Blue, Pink, Dark Purple. The right outer track feeds Dark Green, White, Yellow, Red. The inner loop holds your late-game beads, primarily Bright Green, Blue, and Dark Olive.

Your active Dock has five immediate slots. From left to right: Brown, Pink, Red, Purple, and Dark Blue. The Dark Blue Box is complete bait. There are no blue beads anywhere near the front of the Conveyor. Ignore it entirely at the start.

Directly beneath the active row sits the real nightmare. You have a second row containing White, Light Blue, and Purple Boxes. Below that is a wall of icy Sealed Cubes labeled 100, 500, and 100. These encase the middle of the board. You cannot access the lower green and yellow Boxes until you shatter this ice.

Finally, check the bottom left and bottom right corners. You have two gray blocks marked with a "3". These are Crate Locks. The left one has a Pink top. The right one has a Gray top. They require you to complete adjacent matches or feed specific nearby boxes to count down from 3 to 0. They trap the final Boxes needed to finish the level.

You win this board in the first five moves. You lose it in the first three.

Beads Out Level 550 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact sequence to survive the opening buffer trap. Do not deviate. You have zero margin for error with your holding slots.

Surviving the Opening Jam in Beads Out Level 550

The goal here is to burn exactly four useless colors to reach the Pink and Red beads further up the Conveyor.

  1. Tap the Gray beads on the front left of the Conveyor. They drop into holding slot one.
  2. Tap the Dark Green beads on the front right. They take holding slot two.
  3. The left side now exposes Light Blue. You have a Light Blue Box, but it is stuck in the second row. Tap the Light Blue beads. They take holding slot three.
  4. The right side now exposes White. Your White Box is also stuck in the second row. Tap the White beads. They take the fourth and final holding slot.
  5. Stop. Your buffer is completely full.
  6. The left side of the Conveyor has finally exposed the Pink beads. Tap them immediately. They will bypass the full holding slots and fly straight into the active Pink Box in the second column of your Dock.
  7. The Pink Box fills and leaves the board.

Triggering the White Box Chain Reaction in Beads Out Level 550

The moment the Pink Box clears, the entire structure shifts. This is where the board cracks open.

  1. With Pink gone, the White Box from the second row slides up into the active Dock.
  2. Your held White beads automatically fly out of your buffer and fill the White Box.
  3. This frees up a vital holding slot.
  4. The White Box clears. This pulls the Light Blue Box up into the active row.
  5. Your held Light Blue beads instantly fly out of your buffer to fill it. You just cleared three Boxes and emptied two buffer slots in a matter of seconds.
  6. Now look at the right side of the Conveyor. You have Yellow beads exposed. Tap them into a newly freed holding slot.
  7. This exposes the Red beads. Send them directly into the active Red Box in the center of the Dock.
  8. Go back to the left side. Feed the Dark Purple beads into the active Purple Box.

Breaking the Sealed Cubes and Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 550

Clearing that first chaotic wave causes the middle of the board to advance. The icy Sealed Cubes will shatter, revealing the next mechanic.

  1. The board shifts up, exposing Half Boxes. You will see a Purple 50%, a Light Blue 50%, and a Red 50% Box take the main stage.
  2. These require two separate waves of beads to fill. Do not panic when they only fill halfway.
  3. Draw from the inner loop of the Conveyor now. You have plenty of Blue and Bright Green beads ready to flow.
  4. Feed the Blue beads into the center to handle the massive 500-count requirements that drop from the shattered middle cubes.
  5. Keep the Brown Box on the far left of your Dock active. Feed it using the dark olive/brownish beads from the inner right loop.
  6. Process the 50% Half Boxes sequentially. Always prioritize clearing a Half Box that already has 50% over starting a fresh one. You need the board space.

The Bottom Crate Locks Finish in Beads Out Level 550

The middle is clear. The Last Four speed-up is approaching. You just need to deal with the bottom corners.

  1. The "3" Crate Locks at the bottom left and right are now exposed.
  2. Route the remaining Pink beads from the deep end of the Conveyor toward the left side to trigger the pink-topped lock.
  3. Route the remaining Gray beads to the right side to trigger the gray-topped lock.
  4. Once the locks hit zero, the final base Boxes slide up.
  5. Dump the remaining Bright Green and Yellow beads from the very tail end of the outer Conveyor tracks. Keep your buffer clear for the final color matches.
  6. Let the Last Four speed-up carry the final matching beads into the Dock to clear the board.
